In some ways, prep for VC interviews is easier because you don’t have to learn or memorize many technical topics, but in some ways, it’s harder since you have to do lots of firm-specific research. So, the IPO market has largely been closed, but there are some signs that it’s now opening up with recent deals like ARM and Instacart.

Most notably, the IPO market for tech companies (and generally) ground to an almost complete halt, with the number of tech companies raising at least $1 billion in their IPOs falling from twelve in 2021 to zero in 2022 and major anticipated IPOs, such as those of Instacart and WeTransfer, shelved for the foreseeable future.
