Care Solace Raises $4 Million In Non-Dilutive Growth Funding From Lighter Capital

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

Care Solace calms the chaos of mental health care by lifting the burden of mental health care coordination for school systems through its scalable and virtual technology platform.

The Encinitas-based startup has secured $4 million in non-dilutive capital to expand headcount in sales and marketing so it can drive growth, and to build out new features and product enhancements with additional engineering investments.

Care Solace provides a platform to guide the transition to mental health services by coordinating care across all school and community members. It ensures communities can access reliable, ethical, and high quality mental health care services – no matter the circumstances.

Care Solace currently serves 4.5 million students, 150,000 school staff members, 15 million parents and families, and partners with over 600 school systems. Care Solace leaders look forward to growing its mental health awareness and connection services to even more schools across the nation.

“Care Solace is an incredible example of how technology can be used to impact lives. I'm honored and excited to be working with Chad and his team in support of their mission to improve access to mental health services in K-12 environments.”
